Terminated Bullnose
Provides a termination point for HD tool strings
Applications
- Placed at the bottom of an HD toolstring to terminate the HD tool bus
Features and Benefits
- Termination housed in a profiled bullnose or mechanical-only crossover to allow other equipment to be run below an HD toolstring
Tool Description
The Weatherford terminated bullnose (001) is required when the CFT or FLTE tools are not run. Under normal circumstances these tools would provide line termination and a pressure seal. If they are not used the terminated bullnose is required.
The Weatherford terminated bullnose (002) serves the same function as the 001 bullnose but includes a 15/16-in. box connection that allows for other tools or items to be run below the string (for example: memory tools or swab cups).
