Tool Description
The Weatherford chemical jetting tool (CJT) is designed to remove solids and debris from various completion components within the well bore. It is ideal for scale removal from tubing retrievable down hole safety valves.
The tool can be customized to suit the affected component, and jetting can be directed onto a precise target location in order to maximize effect (for example, the top of the flow tube or flapper recess where scale and other deposits tend to gather).
The CJT can be described as a dump bailer with the ability to disperse its cargo of chemical under pressure, or through the use of mechanical force.
After all chemical is dispersed, further jetting through the displacement of fluid above the tool may continue if necessary to remove any solids or undissolved particles.
