Tool Description
The Weatherford Impactor SL jar compensates for limited available overpull to free stuck tools. The advanced technology of this tool protects against time-consuming and expensive stuck toolstrings and fishing jobs.
Using stored energy in compressed springs and the slickline itself, the Impactor SL jar creates a powerful upwards impulse that increases the force available to free stuck tools. The jar activation force can be easily adjusted at the surface while in the string to account for different operations.
The Impactor SL jar is an ideal choice for general fishing and plug-pulling service, especially for tight well bores and small-diameter tubing.
