- Comprehensive measurement suite integrates pressure, temperature, and casing collar locator (CCL) sensors alongside force and torque sensors, complemented by accelerometers for accurate vibration analysis
- Advanced downhole sensors measure critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, torque, and fluid properties, providing precise data to enhance operational efficiency and safety

Seamless integration
The self-contained SMART-LINK system facilitates a smooth transition to digital operations without extensive overhauls, enabling you to remotely monitor and oversee all coiled-tubing operations from a distance, enhancing real-time responsiveness while reducing the need for on-site personnel.
The SMART-LINK system works with any coiled-tubing unit and consists of three main components:
- Surface Unit: Powers and communicates with the telemetry system, records received data, and provides real-time monitoring through an intuitive user interface.
- Downhole Connection: Includes the link to the coiled tubing reel, a slip ring for communication, a surface pack-off for well control, and a pre-installed tubing encapsulated cable (TEC) that runs through the coiled tubing to the integrated cable head and telemetry.
- Cablehead Assembly: Equipped with sensors to measure various downhole and toolstring properties, and capable of interacting with multiple other tools for diverse applications.
Streamlined adaptability
The downhole cablehead assembly and pre-installed tubing encapsulated cable provide the flexibility to deploy other components—like logging and conventional coiled-tubing tools—empowering operators to tailor the system to their unique operational requirements and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in a wide range of coiled-tubing applications.
Other components, compatible with the TEC, can be installed to meet specific application needs.
- Sensor Assembly: Reduces speed dependency and provides precise, real-time insights into critical parameters, supporting more reliable and informed decision-making while empowering you to respond more effectively, ultimately optimizing efficiency and safety.
- Logging Adaptor: Expands the versatility of your coiled-tubing operations to include wireline tools. It performs critical functions, and, with an industry-standard GO pin logging connection, it allows for easy swapping to logging tools without the need to rig in a wireline unit.
- Cable Protector: Converts the SMART-LINK cablehead to a mechanical connection. It protects and seals the e-connector on the cablehead assembly while allowing the passage of a standard size activation ball, enabling you to easily terminate any SMART-LINK component and use standard conventional tools.
