Tool Description

The Weatherford OPAL acquisition system panel is based on an electronic design in which software control techniques have been used to the best advantage. The hardware incorporates electronic components with embedded systems controlled via the LOGGER SUITE windows interface program. The OPAL operates all tools using the ALT/MSI, PTX, and Kuster telemetry communication protocols.
